We are looking forward to a busy 2019 spring and summer tourist season. And if you are staying overnight in Hot Springs you may be surprised that we have some of the best 4 star hotel rates in the region. Some prices are 20 - 30% lower than places north of us. Personally I would look into Stay USA open year round at: (605-745-4411) or Hills Inn opens in May at: (605-745-3130). Both are locally owned, speak English and I make pickups there. My number if you have any questions is: (605) 891-8345. |

[Video] Prairie Dog Chatting
This little guy and about 1,000 of his friends (not pictured) like to chat and bark at the tourists who frequent his home in Wind Cave National Park. They are fun to watch, and occasionally we will see a visiting coyote walking through their towns. |
[Video] Bison Spring Scratch at Wind Cave National Park
The bison in Wind Cave National Park are gaining weight again with the Spring grasses. They are also working on the removal of those winter coats and the extra hair and the itch that accompanies them. Caught this guy near the entrance to the visitor center. There have also been some reports of bison calves being born already. Seems a bit early. Are you ready to ride with us? |
Day Tour Available!
The first Day Tours for 2016 have already begun. Grass is brown, wildlife is skinny and we're seeing some of the ugliest bison in years. Just being honest. But we're having a blast. The wild burros are hungry, so if you bring some popcorn along be sure to either stay in the vehicle or prepare to be pushed around. |
